L'Oreal's business development in China has taken a strategic step in the end of 2003, the acquisition of one of the top 3 Chinese skin care brands “Mininurse” which includes its manufacturing factory in Yi Chang city of Hu Bei province:BeautyTech International Cosmetics (Yichang) Co., Ltd. The acquisition plays a vital role on increasing group's productivity to meet rapid growth needs of all brands sales of the group.

L'Oreal Yichang factory is located in Xi Ling Economic & Technology Development Zone of Yichang city. After joining L'Oreal industry family, it has been undergoing the L'Orealization by carrying on the same Group Quality system as other factories in the world. In the principle of science, ration and security, by using the most advanced technology, equipment, raw materials, through purchasing, production, logistics and general management to make sure every piece of product made in the factory has exactly the same high quality as what it is from other factories of the group.
